“Golf-Mathletes” are encouraged to play, learn, and grow.
Fun Fact:
95% juniors never play golf. 80% struggle in math. Buttercut society’s collaboration with Future Fairways (www.futurefairways.net) makes it both fun and accessible. Future Fairways is an enrichment workshop program that combines the game of golf with hands-on math learning to help kids build confidence, curiosity, and character.
The Future Fairways program utilizes fun, rotating stations — including putting, chipping, and golf-themed math challenges — to make learning active and engaging. As a Buttercut Society member, you will have the opportunity to become a coach for future math/golf wizards. With every swing and every solved problem, kids earn stamps on their scorecard toward becoming a “golf-mathlete,” discovering that growth can happen both on the course and in the classroom.
As a member of Buttercut Society, you can also become part of Futurefairways’ coaching staff. You can start your own local “mathlete” camp or volunteer at the weekly Futurefairways camp. Our generous sponsors will support the provision of instruction booklets and basic equipment.
